Subject: Fine recording of a great gig!
Subject: Fine recording of a great gig!
Thanks a lot to all involved for sharing this one and all the others! Copying a YT link from another version of this gig here on LMA:
Full youtube video of this gig is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y_kqgH-Eoc
There was also a review posted for this gig on that LMA page, but my virus scanner didn't like it.
I would very much like to know what is the opening/background music that is heard during the very first five minutes before they start Gathering Storm. It sounds as it was an inspiration (or even a cover?) for Silver Mt Zion's ]"Sow Some Lonesome Corner So Many Flowers Bloom" from their "This Is Our Punk-Rock" album which came out a year later: https://theesilvermtzion.bandcamp.com/album/this-is-our-punk-rock-thee-rusted-satellites-gather-sing
Sofa lala laaaa so fafa lala soooo

Subject: The greatest bootleg to ever exist
Subject: The greatest bootleg to ever exist
I’ve been listening to a lot of GY!BE bootlegs over the pass couple years, and this is by far the greatest sounding quality one I’ve heard. The setlist is absolutely perfect, containing 4 encore songs with one of the best performances of World Police and Cowboy I’ve ever heard. The sound quality of this recording is the best I’ve heard out of any GYBE bootleg, each member of the band is balanced together in the recording. The performance the band gave left me speechless after first listen. This show is worth sitting through the full 2 hrs and 58 minutes through, every minute of music being the most enjoyable in the highest quality possible. Thanks so much to Bruce from the band and the people who who worked hard to make this the best recording possible, this truly is the greatest bootleg to ever exist in my opinion.
